Oct 31st, 2012 | McKibbin Lofts, Brookyln, NY

The one that started it all. Ever asked yourself how many people you can fit into one of Mckibbin's famous lofts without the whole place falling down? About 90. At this point in the game, we were just kids that loved Horror movies. We decided to give ourselves a month to make 5 short horror films. To keep things different, we added prompts to the mix. These included things like "location," "character." "genre." The goal of the prompts was to ensure that we not only made completely different films, but that we would also push our boundaries and explore ideas outside of what we would normally consider. With no budget, each team had to work together to bring about the biggest greatest horror story they could think of. That Halloween, amidst the wreckage of Hurricane Sandy, we packed ourselves on top of the squeaking floor boards of a small Brooklyn loft and celebrated.
